Visual Description :
Subject matter derives from 2 Timothy 1:5, a popular subject during the Victorian era, where St. Paul recalls the faith of his disciples Timothy and his mother Eunice. Eunice seated at left in dark umber robes and red halo holding open a book; St. Timothy as a child stands at right, in orange halo and white robes; against deep blue sky background in a central rectangle 14” wide by 15-1/2 “ high surrounded by a narrow border. The panel has been set inside a larger round-headed rectangular panel of clear bottle-glass circles.
