Artist Statement : This print depicts a Nuu-chah-nulth dancer adorned with a Thunderbird head-dress. The head-dress is unusual in the at above and behind the bird is a killer whale. The geometrics on the print are a traditional Nuu-chah-nulth framing devices, in this case representing earth and clouds. (Statement provided by Pacific Editions)
