Visual Description : This copper pot (a) is large in size and similar to a basin. On either side there is a curved handle that is attached to the side of the pot. The handles are attached with the use of four screws or bolts on either side. The handles are thick and are similar in shape and size to the edge of the pot. The brass and copper stand are several parts put together; only the top of the stand (b) is removable. This top portion is a wheel placed horizontally. It is attached to the rest of the stand with a cylindrical insert. The circular portion of this wheel is made from copper and the spokes are made from brass. Attached to the top of the wheel is a circular piece of wood. The rest of the stand (c) is made from brass and copper. The stand is cylindrical in shape and the centre piece is beveled. The base is made from brass and is circular, wider than the cylinder. The base is also beveled and was originally held down by four brass screws.
