Visual Description :
This Ditidaht (sub-group of Nuu-Chah-Nulth) seal hunting paddle has the image of a Thunderbird and Human in black and green paint. There are circular-cut abalone inlaid pieces at the top neck of the paddle and close to the tip of the base. The handle is green and there are no paint or images on the long thin portion of the neck. The backside of the paddle is not painted.
