Artist Statement : "This is a print of our new Head Canoe, which was carved for our Maxwalogwa Canoe Society. Gixdan means 'Head Canoe.' Rave is one of the many Hunt family crests." -- C.H. Raven can be seen with its head on the bow and the tail portion on the stern. The bird's claws are found in front of the black and white band design on the bow (Statement provided by Pacific Editions).
