Artist Statement : "A very long time ago a chief's daughter had gone missing; prior to this she was a mean young lady. For instance, when young suitors for her hand in marriage came to court her, she would make fun of the young braves. When she went missing the chief put up a big reward for her, even the animals joined in the search. No one found her. Then the Wolf and the Eagle devised a plan. With the knowledge of the Wolf on the ground, and the knowledge of the Eagle in the sky; they must become one. They went to a powerful medicine-man. He prayed over the plan and the two became one. In the morning, the found the girl. She had changed, she was kinder and more loving. She could not choose between the Wolf and the Eagle (who were back, separated) in marriage, for that was in the prize of the search. So she married them both." - Robert Sebastian
