Artist Statement :
"As light touched the water, small needle fish (barely apparent to the naked eye) came to the surface. Waiting for the need fish were a yearly migration of Arctic Terns. This was northern British Columbia at nature's best.
Arctic Terns are the North's birds of splendor. Three of these birds are shown as they dive in unison, filling their beaks with needle fish. Nature has always been known to be the great provider, and life seems to revolve in an even balance where needle fish are so abundant that they compliment the life of this bird of beauty. This sends a message to humans, that nature must be respected and what we observe as "a gift" we will cherish as a gift." - Robert Sebastian
