Artist Statement : "Ozzie has produced a unique print, placing a traditionally designed owl in a naturalistic setting. Although not as common as other birds, the owl is represented in masks in the winter dance ceremonies. As the carriers of souls, owls are highly respected by the Kwakiutl people." Vincent Rickard.
