Artist Statement :
This design of traditional Kwakiutl whales was inspired by the birth of George's daughter Natasha. The whale was the main family crest figure of his grandfather Sam Henderson. The style of the design is George's tribute to the unique art of the Henderson family. (Statement provided by Open Pacific Graphics)
