Visual Description : Victorian brass and varnished brown wood scale with stackable weights. The left scale plate is circular in shape and the right one is square. The weights are seven in number, each circular in shape. The heaviest is 16 oz and the smallest is a 1/2 oz. There are three circular carved indentations on the front of the scale base that are lined with purple velvet for the weights to rest in. The edges of the wooden scale base are beveled.
