Visual Description : Ceramic water jar with abstract designs painted on the exterior. The designs are arranged in a pattern formation and consist primarily of curved lines, hard edged, ambiguous shapes, stripes, bird designs, plant designs, and unknown horned animal designs. The colours of the bowl are orange, light orange, brown and off-white. The orange that appears on the exterior is painted while the orange that is on the interior is the natural colour of the ceramic. The texture of the jar is smooth and somewhat glossy, suggesting that the bowl was hand-burnished with a smooth object before firing.
