Visual Description :
This is a 2D cut out of a figure made of plywood. The figure is a side view of a band member playing a saxophone. The figure has a lot of movement as he is perched on the balls of his feet, knees bent and arms outstretched to the viewer's right holding the saxophone to his mouth. The entire figure is painted in black, white and yellow.

The four figures that comprise "The Boys in the Band" have elements that are common not only in their dress, construction, and surface colouration but also in their uniqueness with regards to the nature of installation and performance.
