Visual Description : Sculpture consisting of two sandblasted sheets of glass mounted vertically on a slab of granite. The glass sheets are each 1 cm thick and are spaced 4 cm from each other in the centre of the granite. One sheet is taller than the other and has an eagle design etched into it with seven painted 24 K gold inlays. Its overall shape is rectangular with a diagonal lean to the right and a rounded corner at the top left. The other sheet of glass is longer and has a salmon design with a tree pattern etched into it. Its overall shape is similar to a halved oval and its outer edge is jagged whereas the other sheet of glass has a smooth outer edge. The granite has a dark glossy finish on the top and is jagged around the edges. Simple large linear designs have been carved into it as well. The entire sculpture is resting on a wooden base that has been painted black. It is slightly smaller than the granite in terms of width and depth and is approximately 1 cm in height. The designs on the sculpture are Coast Salish.
