Visual Description : Sitting in a corner, the nayika, clad in a white sari, is stirring lentils in a boiling pot. Her jet black tresses reach her waist, and her face is serene and beautiful. Scattered around her is a bundle of firewood, a pitcher of water, a basket containing vegetables, piles of brinjals and lotus leaves, a bunch of plantains, and cooking utensils. In the background, Krishna is seated on a terrace, while the female messenger is describing to him the charm of the nayika's face.
