Visual Description : A textile printer for batiking on java. It is normally used by men. Women use the slower hand technique of batiking. The stamp part is an image repeated many times. The image is in copper. There is a handle which is sticky, corroded, and dirty. The stamp is designed to be held in the hand and inked up, then pressed on the fabric. The process is repeated.
