Visual Description : Three of three nook and horn rattles in an overall group of nine West Coast ceremonial rattles. The entire rattle is a domestic cow horn with the wider end serving as the main body and the tip of the horn serving as the handle. A section of unknown wood has been inserted into the handle of the horn with two nails, possibly as a reinforcer or support. The sides of the main body have been stitched/laced with an unknown twine.
