Visual Description : Large curvilinear ceramic vase fearturing two scenes, one on each side. One scene features four birds posed on a background with curved line formations that are presumably clouds. The birds have wings that are outstretched, giving the appearance that they are in flight. The second scene features a thin linear tree with seven branches. The ends of each branch have circular shapes that appear to be leaves. There are also six additional circular shapes on the tree that have the appearance of small birds. The ceramic overall is rusty brown in colour with small patches of white intermixed. The scenes are housed within circular flat areas that are white in colour with a number of vertical orange lines overtop. The images in each scene are dark, almost black in colour. The overall texture of the vase is bumpy and rough.
