Visual Description : Traditional Kwakwaka'wakw eagle face mask carved out of red cedar wood and painted black, red, green, and orange (beak). Along the edge of the mask, not including the base, is twisted cedar bark. The eyes, holes in the beak, and mouth are cut out. The eyes are set into the head, the beak is the predominant feature.
