Visual Description : This rug looks relatively new. It is dyed in the colours green, brown, black, pink, beige, and cream. The imagery resembles Native American patterns. The central section, a series of long bands with different patterns in each band, is surrounded by four borders. The first border, from the outside inwards, is two thin grey lines separated by a checkerboard-like pattern in cream and brown. The second border has a green background with white, pink, and brown flowers. The centre of the flowers are small black squares filled with the same colours as the flowers. The pattern of the first border is repeated in the next border. The last and fourth borders are pink and cream jagged patterns that are interlocked with a dark grey outline. The centre section consists of five distinct horizontal bands. Some of the patterns described in the borders are repeated in this central area. The checkerboard-like pattern, flowers, and jagged design are used in between other floral-like images.
