Visual Description : Wooden sculpture in the form of a cat-like animal. The body of the sculpture is hollow with a long linear opening at the top into which a mallet with black leather bindings has been inserted. The mallet is removable and both it and the sculpture are sealed with a red brown gloss varnish. The sculpture has additional pigment on it, particularly on the face, that is yellow, black, red, and white.
