Visual Description : Scottish Mahogany grandfather clock with a silver face and beveled design edges. The face of the clock has both Roman and arabic numbers. Three evenly spaced, pointed, circular brass ornaments are affixed at the very top of the clock. The pendulum and weights on the interior, as well as other metal fixtures such as hinges, are made of brass. Another type of metal, presumably steel, has also been used for some of the metal fixtures. The face of the clock has a protective door with a circular glass window. A smaller similar window is located on the left and right sides in the same area. The chords suspending the weights are green in colour. The cranking mechanism/handle for the clock is suspended from a nail on the top left interior. The door that allows access to the interior of the clock is rounded at the top and has a metal locking mechanism that appears to be damaged. The location of the key is unknown. The overall colour of the clock is red-brown with a gloss finish.
