Visual Description : Red and white beaded breastplate that resembles a curved triangle in overall shape. There are two lengths of broad string or rope attached to the top edge (one on the left and one on the right sides), presumably for tying the breastplate around the back of the neck so that it can be worn. The beadwork is on the front only. At the centre is a large stone with a metal casing. The stone appears to be amber and the metal casing appears to be silver. Both shell beads and beads of other material decorate the front. The beads and shells are arranged in an abstract pattern formation. Aside from the beadwork, the breast plate is comprised of a dense stuffed textile.
