Visual Description : Scroll is of brocade in two shades of grey with embroidered floral designs in dull gold. It hangs from a purple ribbon at the top, and has simulated wooden 'bamboo' weights at either end of its bottom bar, which are laquered a deep maroon. A square of white paper in the centre with a strongly vertical grain bears two loosely rendered horses in ink. The central horse is black, the horse to the left (behind it in the picture plane) is a more washed-out grey. No background. See inscription for further description of the image.
