Visual Description : Number 9 of a series of 10 different postcards packaged in a matching envelope. The series was produced by the Field Museum of Natural History and is entitled "Anthropology Set No. 20 - 10 Cards - 20 Cents HUMAN AND ANIMAL FIGURES, NEW GUINEA". The postcard depicts two carved wooden canoe prows. The one on the top is smaller and appears to depict a bird with a curved beak on the front. The larger one on the bottom depicts a crocodile with a bird on its head.
