Visual Description : Two wood ducks, male and female, are situated in the centre of the print. The male duck stands on a piece of wood protruding from a body of water, and the female duck stands in the water, just in front of the male. Both ducks face left and look left. In the right foreground are two yellow and green water lilies in bloom, and in the left middleground are two more water lilies about to come into bloom.
