Visual Description : This is a watercolour of a coastline along British Columbia. The image is done in a representational style with very detailed brushwork. The image shows a forested coastline on the left with very large mountains behind. The coastline is bordered by very vibrant blue ocean water with a sailboat adrift on the right side. The coastline and the mountains start in the middle of the picture plane on the left side and stretch straight across to the right side of the picture plane. The sky looks like the sun is setting as it is shades of red and orange with tiny white wisps of cloud. The overall color palette consists of blue, green, purple, red, orange, brown, yellow and white.
