Visual Description : This is a rectangular painting of a shoreline in Sechelt. The image shows the shoreline with trees, the beach, a path and set back from the path is a small cottage. The shore is on the right side of the image and is littered with driftwood. There is a line of sea grasses and bushes at the back of the beah closest to the dirt path. On the left side is the ocean expanding into the distance eventually meeting up to a small island which has a sailboat adrift next to it. The sun has set thus creating pink, orange clouds. the vibrant colors of the sunset reflect off the water. The palette is warm with brown, green, blue, purple, pink and orange.
