Visual Description : This is a small rectangular painting of the British Columbian coastline. On the right side of the image is the coastline which is forrested up to the waters edge, it stretches from the right side to the front of and across the picture plane. On the left side is the ocean which stretches back to a set of islands on either side of the image and off into the distance. The left side of the sky is heavy with dark clouds. The painting is made up of shapes that bleed around the edges and run into one another. The bleeding technique gives a soft hazy effect. The colors overall are dark consisting of blue, purple, green, grey and brown and white.
