Artist Statement : This is the story of how Raven dragged salmon eggs into a river, bringing salmon to the people. Of the many Raven stories, the story of creation is central. In this print, the sun in the upper left has been released by Raven. Very soon after this important event Raven dropped salmon eggs into the rivers to bring salmon to the people.
