Artist Statement : "Like all things in life we are connected by the flow of energy. This beautiful thing which gives us life is as simple as the river flows. We in life have the choice to make it simple of hard. Birds don't ask to fly, they just fly. Fish don't ask to swim they just swim.So we as humans need to find what it is and flow with it. This design is a depiction of salmon coming together and departing as we do in everyday life. 'We come and We go.'"--Rande Cook
