Artist Statement : "This woman represents sensuality in women. The moon she embraces is symbolic of ancientness, the power and energy of women. The wolf inside her boy is Kawadelekala, the first wolf of Kingcome Inlet, from which my family descends. The entirety of this painting (and print) celebrates connectedness and how I perceive all things to be connected." -- Francis Dick
