Artist Statement :
"A wood duck told a young warrior, who was swimming in a beaver dam, that there were dangerous snags in the pond he was swimming in.
The young warrior thought he was invincible, even though he was also warned by other hunters and elders.
Sadly, he drowned. But, he came back in spirit. He gave the wood duck all the colours he could in thanks."
