Visual Description : Globular jar with short neck and rounded, thickened lip. Polychrome decoration in black and red on cream slip applied to the entire surface. Black is the delineating colour. The surface is relatively even and does not appear to be polished. The lower part of the vessel is blackened by smoke showing evidence of use over fire. Neck, lip and rim are painted red. The shoulder is decorated with a geometric design. Black and red bands encircle the shoulder and frame red triangles above black triangles of irregular size, containing black dots.
