Visual Description : Shallow bowl with a thickened lip. Bowl is set on tripods reflecting animal heads (lower part = snout). Clay is red and heavy. Body is slightly angled. Polychrome decoration in red and black on cream slip. Outer surface encircled by two black bands. Between these short red bands alternate with a repeated alligator motif in black. A wide horizontal band in red underlines this decoration. The lip is painted red; a black band encircles the inside of the bowl below the lip. Traces of red paint appear on the rim.
