Visual Description : The circular metate has a flying panel which is attached to the plate in the centre by a human head, the face of which may indicate the front of the metate. The rim is slightly raised and decorated with stylized human heads. Three Atlantean figures have a human face superimposed on a "beak bird" beak and body.
